A well designed Search Engine Optimization Plan consists
of five parts or components.
1-Determine what your market is searching for.
2-Review your current position (competition, search
engines, visually, meta tags).
3-Tweak and submit your site.

After
you submit
One
clue that your website has been listed within a search
engine can be found in your log files. When you begin
to see referrals from a particular search engine - pay
a visit and search for some of your main keywords.
See
the Worksheet for a place to record your results. Use
one sheet per search engine.
The
worksheet mentioned is included with the web
page planner. You can make your own using a spread
sheet or your word process.
1.
List the engines across the top of the sheet.
2. Down the left side of the page make rows for - date
submitted, date checked, date in, current position.
There
are some other ways that you can check your position.
