Promoting Using Top Sites

Top
sites are listings of a group or niche of web sites.
The more clicks you get into their site, the higher
your listing is. An example of what I'm talking about
can be found at a top site that my wife belongs to -
http://www.crochetsites.com/index.html
When
I wrote this she had - 176 clicks in and 504 new visitors
to her site. This was within a week, so it is a nice
trickle of traffic.
Finding
Top Sites
There
are a few different ways for finding top sites within
your niche -
Surf
around and you will find the links.
Search Google for Top _________ sites where the ______
is your niche.
Once
you find one that has some nice traffic, which you can
gauge from the clicks out. Join their program, make
sure to put a link on relavent pages (the more opportunities
folks have to click the better), make sure to announce
it in your newsletter and other promotion tools, you
can also include it with an email signature.
