Promoting your site to the other Search Engines

Submitting to the engines is fairly simple. We have already created our meta tags, and checked our pages. If not see the URLs in the Blitz Comments above. Below is a list of five of the ten 'most' important engines to submit to. They are listed in this way.

This past week Altavista added a new requirement in order to submit your website (to discourage folks from using a computerized submit). You must copy the lettering from a gif/jpeg above the area where you input your URL. Since you will be submitting manually, this is not a problem for you, but hopefully it will help to deter the spamers.
